At Transpacific Technologies Inc., earth and environmental sciences are deeply important to us. They form the very foundation of our aspirations to reach for the stars. As Earth Month concludes, we would love to highlight the incredible work being done by Transpacific Technologies in 2024.
On April 18th at NASA’s Armstrong Flight Research Center on Edwards Airforce Base, our Environmental Scientists helped organize and observe the 54th Anniversary of Earth Day. Led by Mark Bratton and Minerva Lara – we helped disseminate information related to our pro planet work to our NASA and Air Force Personnel on base. This year, discussions involved understanding and identifying greenwashing, helping educate people on how to properly recycle and highlighted the field tests of all new electric equipment. In other exciting work, Transpacific Technologies contributes Key engineering and Meteorological support to NOAA’s Advanced Weather Processing Interactive System which is providing innovative weather data to the National Weather System providing more exact models and improved understanding of climate change.
And in an exciting announcement Transpacific Technologies has been selected to help contribute to the National Weather Model in partnership with the National Weather Service to provide faster reporting and cloud capabilities. This new project will be integral in keeping millions of Americans safe from major weather events and floods and we are so excited be involved in this work.
Caring about our planet is paramount to our success as we reach among the stars. At TTI we are making it our mission to continue to contribute to making the space industry greener. And we hope to continue to expand our capabilities in the future.
